Ted Emrich

Ted Emrich returns for his third Olympic Games for Westwood One. In Rio, he will serve as play-by-play announcer for track and field as well as various other events. Emrich also calls college basketball and college football for the network.

Emrich also works for ESPN as a basketball play-by-play announcer. Emrich was previously a host, anchor, and reporter for ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM and spent eight seasons (2008-2016) as the studio anchor for University of Texas football and men’s basketball on the Longhorn IMG Radio Network.
