The 31st annual Women’s College World Series (WCWS) will be held at ASA Stadium in Oklahoma City for the 16th consecutive year and 23rd time overall.

You’ll be able to hear every pitch of the best-of-three championship series right here on DialGlobalSports.com, on NCAA.com and on the Slacker Mobile app for iOS and Android. For more information on Slacker, click here.

Similar to the Men’s College World Series, eight teams will compete during the preliminary rounds of the championship, and will play in a double elimination format, with the two bracket survivors meeting in a best-of-three series to determine the NCAA champion. The first game of the Championship Series will be played on Monday, June 4th, 2012. Game Two will be played the following night, Tuesday, June 5th, 2012.  Should a third game be necessary to determine a champion, it would be played on Wednesday night, June 6th, 2012.  Airtime for all three broadcasts would be 7:45 PM ET.

Kevin Kugler will have the play-by-play of the WCWS for the NCAA Radio Network.

Leah (O’Brien) Amico, a three-time WCWS Champion and three-time Olympic Softball Gold Medalist, will serve as the analyst.

Reese, a former star at Ole Miss, is the reigning long jump world champion and will be aiming for her first Olympic medal, after finishing fifth in Beijing in 2008.

Also, the results of the women’s water polo championships, won by Stanford for a second straight year, and the Division III women’s golf tournament, won for the 15th consecutive time by Methodist University of North Carolina.

Westwood One/Dial Global Sports, in conjunction with the NCAA Radio Network, will present the NCAA Men’s Division I Lacrosse Championship for the second consecutive year. Both semifinal games and the final will be broadcast this year from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Broadcast coverage of the 2012 National Semifinals will begin at 2:15 PM ET on Saturday, May 26th. The opening face-off of Game Two will be approximately 35 minutes after the conclusion of Game One. Coverage of the National Championship Game will begin at 12:45 PM ET on Monday, May 28th.

Last year, Virginia won the title game 9-7 over Maryland, thanks in large part to five goals from Colin Briggs.
