A look back at the career of one of the most successful coaches in NCAA Football, as Larry Kehres of Mount Union has announced that he’ll be stepping aside to allow his son Vince to take control of the program.

In 27 years as head coach, the elder Kehres won an astonishing 11 Division III national championships.

Also, a congratulations to the USC women’s water polo team on its national championship.

Player of the Week: Zach Randolph

This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Pro Basketball Player of the Week is Zach Randolph.

The Memphis power forward was at his best this week, scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds Monday as the Grizzlies took a commanding 3-1 lead in their series over Oklahoma City.

Randolph followed up that performance with an even better one on Wednesday, dropping 28 on the Thunder and grabbing 14 boards, as the Grizzlies advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history.

Zach Randolph was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone Pro Basketball Player of the Week.

Pittsburgh’s star center had a goal and five assists this week as the Penguins took a 3 games to 2 lead over the New York Islanders in their opening round series.

This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Pro Basketball Player of the Week is Klay Thompson

Thompson scored 34 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in Golden State’s Game 2 victory over San Antonio to even the Western Conference Semifinals at a game apiece.

Player of the Week: James Harden

This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Pro Basketball Player of the Week is James Harden.

The Houston guard scored 31 points on Wednesday night as the Rockets won in Oklahoma City to cut their deficit in the best-of-seven series to 3-2. Harden was 10 of 16 from the field — including 7 of 9 from three-point range in the 107-100 victory. He added eight rebounds and three assists.

James Harden was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone Pro Basketball Player of the Week.

This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Pro Hockey Player of the Week is Pittsburgh’s Pascal Dupuis.

The Penguins’ right winger helped his team get off to a winning start in its opening-round series with the New York Islanders, scoring a pair of goals as Pittsburgh won Wednesday’s Game 1 by a final score of 5-0.

Pascal Dupuis was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone Pro Hockey Player of the Week.

2013 Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship on Dial Global Sports!

Dial Global Sports, in conjunction with the NCAA Radio Network, is excited to once again bring the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship to a national radio audience as well as listeners on DialGlobalSports.com, NCAA.com and SiriusXM.

The 2013 semifinals and championship game will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Broadcast coverage of the National Semifinals begins with Game One at 2:15 PM Eastern on Saturday, May 25th.

The winners of Saturday’s semifinals will advance to the National Championship Game on Memorial Day—Monday, May 27th. Dial Global’s broadcast of the championship game will begin at 12:45 PM Eastern.

Dave Ryan will handle play-by-play duties for the third consecutive year. 2004 national champion Steve Panarelli is back for his second year as Dial Global’s lacrosse analyst. Jason Horowitz will host the pregame and postgame shows and report from the sidelines during the action.

Player of the Week: New York Islander John Tavares

This week’s AutoZone “In the Zone” Pro Hockey Player of the Week is John Tavares.

The Islanders’ center was instrumental as his team bagged 20 out of a possible 26 points in April to earn a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Tavares scored seven goals in the month and was a +6 overall.

John Tavares was definitely “In the Zone” and he’s our AutoZone Pro Hockey Player of the Week.
