This Week in the NCAA 2012This past week the United States Olympic Committee hosted a luncheon to recognize the contribution collegiate athletics continues to make to the success of Team USA in both Summer and Winter Games.

Kevin Kugler has more details on that and the NCAA Elite 89 – an award that recognizes student-athletes who reach the pinnacle of competition at the national championship level in their sport, with specific praise for Arizona State softball players Bailey Wigness.
