UCLA Coach Savage IntvOMAHA, NE – He was more East Coast than L.A., but Frank Sinatra would’ve liked this year’s UCLA Bruins baseball team. In short, they do it their way.

The Bruins preach pitching and defense first, and do what it takes to manufacture runs. Preliminary victories of 2-1 over LSU, 2-1 over NC State and 4-1 over North Carolina proved that.

Ahead of the best-of-three championship series, Scott Graham had a chance to talk to UCLA head coach John Savage.
