NCAA Basketball Highlights: N.C. State 84 – Duke 76

01/12/2013

RALEIGH, NC – C.J. Leslie scored 25 points and Richard Howell put in a dominating shift down low with 16 points and 18 rebounds as #20 North Carolina State downed top-ranked Duke 84-76 on Saturday.

Fans stormed the court after the game as the Wolfpack knocked off the #1 Blue Devils to improve to 3-0 in the ACC for the first time since the 1988-89 season.

The loss was the first on the year for the Blue Devils, who were without injured forward Ryan Kelly and lost Seth Curry late to an apparent ankle injury. Prior to leaving the game, Curry had 22 points.

With Duke’s loss, Michigan remains as the lone unbeaten team in country.

Tom McCarthy and Bill Frieder called the action on Dial Global Sports.
