01/05/2013

HOUSTON – Arian Foster ran for 140 yards and a touchdown and the Houston defense held on late as the Texans advanced to the Divisional Round with a 19-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincinnati took a 7-6 lead early on Leon Hall’s 21-yard interception return for a touchdown, before Houston responded with a Shayne Graham field goal and Foster’s TD run. Trailing 19-13 late in the fourth quarter, Cincinnati threatened but failed to score when Andy Dalton’s long pass to A.J. Green sailed incomplete. On the next play, the Bengals failed to convert on fourth and 11.
