Army-Navy Interview: Black Knights head coach Rich Ellerson

12/08/2012

You’ve heard the old saying: “You can throw the records out the window when these two teams get together.” Well, you’d be hard pressed to find a rivalry where that sentiment applies more than in the case of the annual Army-Navy Game.

When the Academies meet on the gridiron, EVERYTHING is thrown out the window. Records, friendships… you name it. So while Army enters Saturday’s game at 2-9 to Navy’s 7-4, you can bet the Black Knights won’t be thinking about that five-game difference when the opening whistle blows. No, they’ll have only one thing racing through their minds: “Beat Navy.”

Ahead of the big game, our Jason Horowitz had a chance to speak with Army head coach Rich Ellerson.
