Pregame interviews: Stanford’s Stepfan Taylor and UCLA’s Brett Hundley

Big games are taking place all over the country on rivalry weekend, and while many eyes in Southern California will be on the battle playing out between #1 Notre Dame and USC, there’s also a crucial contest scheduled at the Rose Bowl.

Stanford takes on UCLA and a win by the Cardinal would set up a rematch between the two teams in the Pac-12 Championship Game next week — and essentially eliminate Oregon from the national title mix, if the Ducks aren’t already out after last week’s Stanford win in Eugene.

UCLA already knows they’ll be playing in the Pac-12 title game next week and can avoid seeing Stanford twice with a win.

Ahead of the game, our Jason Horowitz had a chance to speak with Cardinal running back Stepfan Taylor and UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley.

Coverage of the Stanford-UCLA game from the Rose Bowl begins at 6 PM Eastern. John Tautges and Terry Donahue will have the call of all the action.
