SAN FRANCISCO – In a battle of backup quarterbacks, Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers crushed Jason Campbell and the Chicago Bears 32-7 on Monday Night Football.
The Niners outgained the Bears 355 yards to 143 and led 27-0 before the Bears finally scored late in the 3rd quarter.
Kaepernick was 16 of 23 for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, which improved San Francisco to 7-2-1 on the season. Chicago dropped to 7-3.
