Tom Brady on beating the Jets, heading to London and more

10/22/2012

The New England Patriots squeaked by the New York Jets on Sunday, 29-26 in overtime, to take sole possession of first place in the AFC East at 4-3.

The Patriots nearly blew yet another late-game lead after throwing away a 23-13 advantage, but trailing by three with about a minute to play, Tom Brady drove his team into position for a game-tying field goal attempt.

Stephen Gostkowski made the kick, then another in overtime, and when Mark Sanchez’s fumble was recovered by the Patriots defense, New England escaped with a victory.

In his weekly conversation with Jim Gray, Brady talks about pulling out the victory, getting booed by the home crowd at Gillette Stadium, his team’s trip to London to play the Rams and much, much more.
