Texas Tech’s Tommy Tuberville on TCU game

10/18/2012

Old rivals will reunite on Saturday in Fort Worth when former Southwestern Conference foes Texas Tech and TCU take the field in a conference game for the first time since 1995.

In all, the Red Raiders and the Horned Frogs have only faced each other twice since the breakup of the SWC, which marked quite a change after the programs squared off every year for more than four decades.

Tommy Tuberville’s Texas Tech team come into the game on the back of a decisive victory over West Virginia, while TCU had a good game of their own last week in downing Baylor.
