MNF Highlights: Texans 23 – Jets 17

10/08/2012

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Arian Foster rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown to carry the Houston Texans to a 23-17 win over the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.

Houston led 20-7 late in the third quarter after Shayne Graham’s second field goal of the night, but Joe McKnight’s 100-yard touchdown return on the ensuing kickoff gave the Jets hope.

But the Houston defense tightened and the Jet could never get closer than six points.

Kevin Harlan and Boomer Esiason called the action on Westwood One Sports.
