NFL Highlights: 49ers 30 – Packers 22

GREEN BAY, WI – Alex Smith and the San Francisco offense built a lead and the defense held on late as the 49ers beat the Packers 30-22.

Frank Gore rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown, while Smith hit on touchdown passes to Randy Moss and Vernon Davis.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns in the season-opening defeat.

San Francisco kicker David Akers tied the NFL record for the longest field goal with a 63-yard effort as time expired in the first half.
