ATLANTA — Peyton Manning threw three first-quarter interceptions and the Broncos also lost a fumble in the first quarter as the Atlanta Falcons built a big lead early and hung on late to defeat Denver 27-27 on Monday Night Football.
Atlanta led 20-0 after Matt Ryan found Tony Gonzalez for a touchdown with just under five minutes to go in the first half, but Manning and the Broncos rallied late in the game.
Two Willis McGahee touchdown runs brought Denver to within 27-21, but the Atlanta defense picked up two first downs to run out the clock.
