Heisman Interview: Andre Ware with Eddie George

Each week on our Dial Global NCAA Football broadcasts, 1995 Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George talks with a fellow winner of college football’s most coveted prize.

In this week’s interview, Eddie speaks with former Houston quarterback Andre Ware, who won the Heisman in 1989. In Houston’s prolific run-and-shoot offense, Ware put up massive numbers in the ’89 season – 4,699 yards passing and 44 touchdowns in becoming the first black quarterback to win the Heisman.

The interview is presented by Nissan.
