Track and Field: Usain Bolt does it again

08/09/2012

LONDON – Should we really be surprised at this point? Jamaica’s Usain Bolt cemented his place as the world’s fastest man with a remarkable victory in the 200 meters.

Bolt’s time of 19.32 didn’t quite top his Olympic record from Beijing, but it’s safe to say if he wasn’t coasting and silencing his many critics with a shushing hand gesture, Bolt would’ve smashed his own mark.

The Jamaicans managed a clean sweep in the 200, with Yohan Blake and Warren Weir finishing second and third. Wallace Spearmon of the U.S. finished fourth in 19.90.
