LONDON – In one of the closest races of the London 2012 Olympic Games, Australian Sally Pearson set a new Olympic record of 12.35 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles to win gold.
Following close on her heels were three Americans – Dawn Harper (12.37), Kellie Wells (12.48) and Lolo Jones (12.58).
After the race, Steve Futterman caught up with Harper and Wells.
