LONDON – He may not know what it feels like to win a major championship, but Andy Murray’s victory Sunday at the All-England Club certainly comes close.
Murray downed Roger Federer in straight sets to claim the men’s tennis gold medal – then returned to the court a few hours later to try to match the feat in mixed doubles.
Murray and his partner Laura Robson fell to Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi of Belarus, but it’s safe to say only earning the silver didn’t put a damper on Murray’s huge day.
