LONDON – A night after defending gold medalists Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser were upset in the round of 16, the American beach volleyball teams got back on track Saturday at the Horse Guards Parade.
Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor lost their first set in Olympic competition last time out, but they had no such trouble in advancing to the quarterfinals with a convincing win over Dutch pair Marleen van Iersel and Sanne Keizer.
