“Late Night in London”

Our coverage of London 2012 begins July 27th with the first installment of our recap show, “Late Night in London,” hosted by John Tautges and Kevin Kugler. “Late Night in London” will air nightly throughout the Games, beginning July 27th with the Opening Ceremony and ending August 12th after the Closing Ceremony.

“Late Night in London” will air from 9 PM until 11 PM Eastern (with re-feeds for affiliate stations at 11 PM – 1 AM and 1 AM – 3 AM).

Basketball

Dial Global Sports will also present live play-by-play coverage of EVERY Team USA men’s basketball game, as well as the gold medal games of both the men’s and women’s basketball competitions.

The basketball play-by-play schedule is as follows:

Men’s Preliminary Games: July 29th (vs. France), July 31st (vs. Tunisia), August 2nd (vs. Nigeria), August 4th (vs. Lithuania), August 6th (vs. Argentina)

Team USA Men’s Quarterfinal: Wednesday, August 8th (if the U.S. advances to the medal round)

Team USA Men’s Semifinal: Friday, August 10th (if the U.S. reaches the semifinal)*

Women’s Gold Medal Game: Saturday, August 11th at 3:45 PM Eastern (only if Team USA plays in this game).

Men’s Gold Medal Game: Sunday, August 12th at 9:45 AM Eastern. (game will be broadcast regardless of the participating teams)

*If Team USA loses in the semfinal round, Dial Global Sports will also broadcast the Bronze Medal Game at 5:45 AM Eastern on Sunday 8/12/12.

Football/Soccer

The world calls it football, we call it soccer. Whatever you call it, it is undoubtedly the world’s most popular sport. We will provide live play-by-play coverage of both the Men’s and Women’s Gold Medal Games. The schedule is as follows:

Women’s Gold Medal Game: Thursday, August 9th at 2:30 PM Eastern.

Men’s Gold Medal Game: Saturday, August 11th at 9:45 AM Eastern.

Round-the-Clock Updates

In addition to “Late Night in London” and live play-by-play coverage, Dial Global will also offer round-the-clock updates three times an hour throughout the Games.

Our 30-part series will run June 27th to July 26th to get listeners ready for the 2012 London Games, with stories about the inspirational athletes that will take center stage. You will also be able to listen to every installment of “Countdown to London” right here on DialGlobalSports.com!
