RALEIGH, NC – And then there were four. #1 seeds, that is.

Skylar Diggins’ triple-double paced top-seeded Notre Dame in an 80-49 blowout of Maryland, as the Fighting Irish became the fourth #1 seed to qualify for this weekend’s Women’s Final Four.

Diggins racked up 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and notched 11 assists — plus five steals.

Notre Dame will play fellow Big East power Connecticut on Sunday in Denver.

Craig Way and Ann Meyers-Drysdale called the action on the Westwood One Radio Network.
