Louisville’s Rick Pitino: Full Interview on Taking on Michigan State

PHOENIX, AZ – Rick Pitino’s ‘s 4-seed Louisville Cardinals meet head to head with 1-seed Michigan State in a Sweet Sixteen match up in the NCAA Tournament West Regional.

Pitino is trying to get back to the Final Four for the first time since he took Louisville in 2005. This current stretch of years without reaching the Final Four is the longest such span in Pitino’s career since he first reached the National Semifinal with Providence in 1987.

Dave Sims caught up with Coach Pitino ahead of the game.
