Winter has finally arrived in the Midwest and that means the tundra is likely to be officially frozen when the Green Bay Packers host the New York Giants on Sunday in the final Divisional Round game of the weekend.
(We’re just going to go ahead and ignore the fact that Lambeau Field has a state-of-the-art field and heating system. It makes for a better story, doesn’t it?)
With the temperatures dropping and the potential for snow falling, establishing a running game will likely be key for both teams. One man who will be asked to take on part of that challenge is Packers running back Ryan Grant. He spoke with NFL Insider hosts Mark Malone and Steve Tasker ahead of the big game.
(Listen to Ryan Grant’s interview from 1/13/12)
Coverage of our Sunday Divisional Round doubleheader begins at 12:30 PM Eastern with Baltimore versus Houston, then continues with the Packers and Giants. Kevin Harlan, Dan Fouts and Hub Arkush (sidelines) will be on hand to bring you all the action from Lambeau Field.
